CHARACTER POSTER FOR LEE PACE'S ELVEN KING THRANDUIL IN 'HOBBIT BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES'! BRAD PITT, SHIA LABEOUF, LOGAN LERMAN ON 'FURY' WW2 POSTERS! CHANNING TATUM IS 'STRUCK BY GENIUS'! 'ULTIMATE GETAWAY' TV SHOW

ELVEN KING THRANDUIL
IN 'HOBBIT BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES' CHARACTER POSTER
After the stunning tapestry poster for THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES, released earlier this week, a mind blowing character poster has been released for Lee Pace's Elven king Thranduil, son of Oropher,  who ruled over the Woodland Realm in the Second and Third Ages. Though inherently cautious, he eventually committed his kingdom to fighting Sauron in the War of the Ring. He was also the father of the elven prince of Mirkwood, Legolas, who was a member of the Fellowship of the Ring.

CHANNING TATUM
WILL BE STRUCK BY GENIUS
The Hollywood Reporter writes that Channing Tatum is going to produce and star in STRUCK BY GENIUS! Based on Jason Padgett's memoir, it follows his transformation into a maths genius at the age of 31.Formerly a hard partying college drop-out, he received a traumatic brain injury after being jumped in the street. During his recovery he discovered a new talent for mathematics. The story deals with his developing introversion, his struggles with PTSD and chronic pain and his fight to overcome them.
THE ULTIMATE GETAWAY SHOW AT FOX
Meanwhile, in TV news, Fox is developing THE ULTIMATE GETAWAY TV series which will follow a commercial airline crew who, to escape the drudgery of their everyday lives, use their layovers to commit robberies in different cities across the country.

'FURY' CHARACTER POSTERS
WITH BRAD PITT, LOGAN LERMAN AND SHIA LABEOUF
The premiere of World War II historical drama FURY is getting close to its October 17th scheduled date and Sony Pictures has now released posters depicting the characters that Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman and Jon Bernthal play. Directed by David Ayer FURY will be set in April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their brave attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. Michael Peña, Scott Eastwood, Jason Isaacs, also star in the historical action movie.

  3. It would take a pretty good hit on the head for me to become a math wiz too. :P

And I always like WWII stories, so I'll be checking FURY out.

  5. Fury looks great, I am just worried about our transformer boy being a loon. I will wait to see what the critics will make it a smash or trash it. Your coverage is always stellar!

  6. I think there's enough war going on in the world to then want to watch it at the cinema. Saying that, FURY, does look like a very well made film. Oh, and it's got Brad Pitt in it. Just saying ...

And the Hobbit poster is ... delicious :)

    2. There's no glory in war. And the only thing that leads up to it is greed and stupidity. There. I said it. Now sue me.

  7. That's what I need. A group of thugs to kick my butt so I can be good at math. Allison asks me to help her with her homework all the time and I can't do it. I feel like such a dunce not being able to do 5th grade math!

    1. I'd rather be bad at math than kicked by a group of thugs... although they could deal with my bum in other ways LOL
I had excellent marks in all subjects at school except maths and physics.... I just don't have the brain for it...

    2. Theresa... . did he say they could deal with his bum in other ways? He did, didn't he?

  10. Tatum's new movie sounds compelling. And LaBeouf is acting again? Seems like I haven't seen him in anything in a while.

    1. Yep, he might take a more serious turn in his career with that role...
We've seen LaBeouf's willie in one of his latest movies NYMPHOMANIAC :) He had actual sex in it... not even faking it...

  11. Reading your comment to Donna, I don't think I'd want to see LaBeouf's willie. I don't find him attractive at all. But Channing Tatum is a different story.

Oh and Chris Sheffield? Yes please. But Dezzy, he gets killed super early in Maze Runner. Seriously. What a let down.

    1. Poor Chris :( his character was really warm and nice in LAST SHIP.
When it comes to Shia, it really is a lovely willie to see, what glee :) There are even photos of him penetrating an actress in full erection :) It is a rather delightful affair....

  12. Holy Mary Mother of God, Brad Pitt as a tank Commander. No, no way in hell is that believable. Jesus he delivered those lines dead pan. But you know the world does need another movie that shows how the Yanks won the War (that's sarcasm).

    1. I appreciate the sarcasm, dear :) I don't know who is worse in such films, him or his best buddy George Clooney... but then again both are pompous and full of themselves and that IS the trait of American soldiers, isn't it?

  13. I heard about the Struck by Genius story. Interesting choice for Channing. He has really been diversifying himself these last few years. Good for him! Legolas's Dad is BAD-ASS! That poster is awesome. I'm starting to think about seeing Fury but not sure of how to fit on my movie going list.
